2012 Global Group Running Adventures
Use your running to see the world, race in remote places and meet incredible people!
In 2011, 13 members of TEAM CANADA made their way down to Costa Rica to participate in the TCC Coastal Challenge, a 6 day staged running race. It was an awesome experience for everyone as we left the cold winter of Canada behind for a few days and enjoyed the daily runs in the sun and beach camping at night. Runners from around the world had traveled to this race and friendships that will last a lifetime have been made.
With a little coaching and preparation, we are all capable of participating in such events. Jen coached many of these athletes to get them properly trained and ready. For some, this was their first ever 250km race. Mental barriers were broken and limits pushed. It truly was an incredible experience. Some runners went to compete, others to simply share in a great athletic experience and enjoy the varied terrain each day. Whatever ones purpose for going was, it was a killer experience and a great time!!!
